Collage and assemblage fundamentally depend on bringing together two or more existing elements in a way that makes us consider these elements both in new ways as individual items and taken together as a new whole. This exhibit features works that remind us of the masters: Daniel Anselmi, Romare Bearden, Hannah Höch, Robert Rauschenberg, Man Ray, Robert Szot, and Kara Walker.
